About Paul

Paul Noth is the 2025 winner of the Thurber Prize for American Humor in Cartoon Arts. He is only the second cartoonist to receive the honor. He has published over 400 cartoons in The New Yorker, several of which are among the most widely shared cartoons on social media.

He is creator of the Emmy-nominated animated series Pale Force for Late Night with Conan O’Brien and co-created the animated short “Cool Drones” for Saturday Night Live. He has developed shows for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Nickelodeon and is the author of the acclaimed middle grade graphic novel trilogy, How to Sell Your Family to the Aliens, published by Bloomsbury. His Novus series of educational comic books, created for the New York Federal Reserve, is used in classrooms across the United States to teach financial literacy. There are currently three thousand copies in print, which are used in classrooms across the country.
